YOUR HELP NEEDED FOR CASINO NIGHT....

YOU can HELP support the WVBC.......

The WVBC's Casino Night on July 18th will be a major fundraiser for this year's annual EXPO to be held at the end of January and we can't do it without YOUR HELP!

Even if you are new to the billiards community, even if you don't gamble, if you are a VBC member you can still support us by helping with any of the following:

• We need Home Baked cakes, cupcakes, pies, squares, cookies, or some other easy to serve dessert that we will be selling at this event. You don't even have to attend the event! You can drop it off before the event begins or arrange for someone to bring it for you.
• We need several people to plate up & sell the Desserts & Beverages. This will require you to come an hour in advance of the event (5pm) to cut up and plate the various desserts & get the drinks put into the coolers with ice.
• We need at least one more person to assist at the registration table to help check people in.
• We need card dealers and roulette wheel help. You will have to arrive 45 minutes prior to the event beginning to get your training. 

Because this is a fundraising event you must be a VBC member or VBC member's guest to be able to "Pay to Play". If you are not yet a member of the VBC and would like to join, please go to our "Join VBC" page to find out how & join today!

WVBC GANGS OF NY TEAM

The WVBC GANGS OF NY Team has finally come up with a theme!

For those of you who don't know about this event hosted by the VBC  each year. It is a fun social tournament that enlists members to create various Gang related teams for a little fun and competition.

The WVBC had come up with a rough and tough girl gang theme only to learn that there is another team coming as biker chicks. As a result we have  decided to represent "THE UPTOWN GIRLS" in this fun social. We plan to be a bit dressy and hope to look classy in our attire with a black and white theme with a bit of bling. So wish us luck!

One of the traditions in this event is to choose a theme song so in order to represent "Girl Power" we have chosen "Never Underestimate a Girl" by Vanessa Hudgens. Click on the link above to check it out.

All teams have to have an even number of players so we can play in teams. We can still use a few more "girls". Let me know if you are interested!

VBC Monthly Meeting & Tournament

Don't miss the Friday, June 26th monthly VBC Meeting and tournament at La Hacienda Rec Center.

Tuesday Beginner Play & Lessons at Chula on Vacation

Please make note that Gale will be away from Tuesday June 23rd through July 7th and will not be at the  Tuesday morning Beginner Lessons and Organized Play at Chula Vista during that time. The room remains available for you to practice on your own on those days from 9am - noon.

WVBC WOMEN'S SINGLES 8 BALL LEAGUE ALL SET TO BEGIN!

We couldn't be more pleased with the results of our call for Women to play in the new WVBC 8 Ball Leagues! We now have a FULL roster and some subs for our first summer session which will begin on Thursday July 16th at 9am at both Canal & Odell.

The WVBC will be meeting on this Wednesday June 3rd  to discuss final details of how we will begin including the round robin for seeding players. If you are on the roster you will be hearing from us soon.

The only thing we are lacking is a few more subs in the advanced beginner category. If you are interested in being on our sub list, contact us and include your phone number.

WVBC TO RE-RUN MOVIE & PIZZA NIGHT

The WVBC is doing a RE-RUN of the Movie "Color Of Money" with a pre-show presentation with Don Preacher Feeney on June 13th at 6pm.

Here's your chance if you missed out last time!

RESERVE AND MAKE PAYMENT BY TUESDAY JUNE 9TH.

Anyone who was registered for  the last event can return for free but you must let us know you are coming so we have an accurate food count.

Not everyone is able to return for the second showing so we have extra spots available. You can register and make payment in person with Wendy Lord, Sharon Lomano, Annemarie Prioriello, or Gale Bellew.
